Good morning,

Ouigo España – a subsidiary of the French state-owned rail incumbent SNCF – has already achieved over 400,000 passengers in the first three months of competing against the Spanish incumbent Renfe within Spain.

Meanwhile, the Italian state rail incumbent FS Trenitalia will soon start competing against SNCF TGVs on the high speed route between France and Italy.

This new dynamism will boost modal shift to rail and benefit the EU Green Deal.

For more details, you can find our latest press release attached to this email:

"EU State-owned rail incumbents show that competition against each other brings new passengers to rail".

If you have any questions, then please get in touch.
